Making a mural.
Painting the architecture.
A mural is never an enlarged canvas. Its composition begins with the building, its sightlines, its uses and the way light moves across it.

From drawing to wall.
From preparatory drawing to final highlights, the work remains physical and handmade. Scaffolding changes the distance, but not the precision of the line or the intensity of the color.

Making room for others.
At Villa Seren, children join the artist in painting a marine world. Some murals open the creative process to the people who will live alongside them.
